The data collection for this study is in Microsoft Excel XLS format. Included are raw, analyzed, statistical, and summary data for mice sacrificed after two weeks of exposure. Date ranges are June-December, 2011 for data collection and August 2014 for statistical analysis. Measurements include: • FS positive effects on pulmonary inflammation: bronchoalveolar lavage fluid (BALF) neutrophils and protein levels; transforming growth factor-beta1(TGF-B1), interleukin-1 beta (IL-1ß), tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-a) • Oxidative/nitrosative damage in lung tissue: malondialdehyde (MDA) and nitrite levels • Lung fibrosis as measured by lung hydoxyproline levels The results have been published (available in PDF format): J Pulm Respir Med. 2014;4(6).doi:10.4172/2161-105X.1000215. |
