The objective of this test was to aid in the proper assessment of hemodynamic parameters, vascular responses, and cardiac size and function. Investigators hypothesized that bed rest changes in cardiac dimensions and function will be similar to those seen after space flight. They expect to see changes in cardiac function which is similar to those seen pre-bedrest.
