Hardware Version

Version Used During the International Space Station (ISS) Experiments

The SMART-D® Motion Capture System was used during the Kinematics T2 study. It was an optoelectronic system allowing the study of the human movement through the measurement of indices such as position, speed, and acceleration, which describes the kinematics of body segments. Tapemarkers, placed at various locations on the body, allows a detailed biomechanical analysis of locomotion.
