ISS Expedition 25 Crew Patch

Expedition 25 started with the undocking of the Expedition 24 crew from the International Space Station. Skvortsov, Caldwell and Kornienko returned to Earth in the Soyuz 22S vehicle after 116 days in space.

Increment 25 NASA astronaut Doug Wheelock, the Expedition 25 commander, Russian cosmonaut Fyodor Yurchikhin, and NASA astronaut Shannon Walker arrived to the ISS in the Soyuz vehicle 23S. They were on the ISS for roughly two weeks, adjusting to life in space before Soyuz 24S brought three additional crewmembers to the station forming the full Expedition 25 crew of six. These three were Russian cosmonauts Oleg Skripochka and Alexander Kaleri, and NASA astronaut Scott Kelly.

During Increment 25 vehicle traffic included the docking of Soyuz 24S (to deliver the three additional Expedition 25 crewmembers), the docking of Progress 37P and the undocking of Progress 40P.

Expedition 25 ended with the undocking of Soyuz 23S at the end of November 2010, returning Wheelock, Yurchikhin, and Walker to Earth after a five-month stay on ISS.
