Description
Expedition 45 began in September 2015 with the arrival of Soyuz TMA-18M. Crewmembers on this expedition were NASA Commander Scott Kelly, RSA Flight Engineers Oleg Kononenko, Mikhail Kornienko and Kergey Volkov, NASA Flight Engineer Kjell N. Lindgren, and JAXA Flight Engineer Kimiya Yui.

Scott Kelly and Mikhail Korniyenko continue with their year-long stay aboard the ISS. They have been onboard the International Space Station since March 2015, spanning expeditions 43 and 44. They will continue their journey through expeditions 45 and 46.

Expedition 45 concluded with the departure of Soyuz TMA-17M on December 11, 2015. Kelly, Korniyenko and Volkov has transferred to the crew of Expedition 46.
