Description

The 49/50 crew transferred from Expedition 49 to Expedition 50 with the departure of the 48/49 crew on October 28, 2016, in the Soyuz vehicle.  The 49/50 crewmembers are: Robert S. Kimbrough, NASA; Andrei Borisenko, RSA; and Sergey Ryzhikov, RSA.  The Expedition 50/51 crewmembers came on board in mid November 2016, bringing the total number of people on the station to six.  The 50/51 crewmembers are:  Peggy Whitson, NASA;  Oleg Novitskiy, RSA; and Thomas Pesquet, ESA.  Expedition 50 is scheduled to continue until early March 2017.
